Honouring the past
Forty years ago, supporters stepped out in faith to help establish Waverley Abbey House as a place of prayer, discipleship, training and mission. Together, they sacrificially raised £500,000 to secure a spiritual home that has since welcomed thousands of people to encounter God, discover their calling, and be equipped to serve.
What began as a bold vision has become a lasting legacy, impacting lives across the UK and around the world.
Building the future
As we honour the past, we are now building for the future.
Across the UK, we are seeing growing signs of spiritual openness and a rising generation searching for faith, hope and truth. As demand continues to grow across all we do at Waverley Abbey, we are increasingly finding that it is outgrowing our current capacity.
That is why we are pressing forward to:
- Establish Waverley Abbey as an ecumenical spiritual centre for the nation.
- Expand Every Day with Jesus and broadcast prayer worldwide.
- Continue building a Christian university, training future leaders.
- Launch a business incubator carrying the Gospel into the marketplace.
- Equip and deploy chaplains into secondary schools across the nation.
- Refurbish and strengthen Waverley Abbey House ahead of its 40th anniversary.
This summer, we are inviting our partners and supporters to help raise £500,000 once again, the same amount faithfully and sacrificially given by supporters 40 years ago to establish Waverley Abbey House.
Double your impact
Please help us raise £500,000 once again to honour the past and build the future, creating more opportunities for encounter, equipping more leaders, and preparing Waverley Abbey for the rising generation already beginning to come through our doors.
Whether you're able to give £30, £50, £300 or another amount, your gift will be matched, pound for pound, up to £100,000, doubling your impact as Waverley Abbey builds the future and serves a new generation seeking more of Jesus.
