You are invited to step into rest, quiet and retreat with God in our Herrnhut
The ‘Herrnhut’, meaning ‘the Lord’s protection or keeping’, is a contemporary shepherd’s hut nestled in the gardens of the Waverley Abbey.
As you retreat in the ‘Herrnhut’, walk in the gardens and Waverley Abbey ruins, or visit the Prayer Room – we pray that God will richly bless your time with peace, refreshment and revelation.
Amenities include:
- Electric heating
- Fridge and sink
- Coffee and tea provided
- Toilet facilities available in nearby Waverley Abbey House
- Parking available
- No Smoking
Please note: there are four steps up to the shepherd’s hut.
