Seeds of Faith: Summer

What if the rhythms of creation could renew your walk with God? Today’s pace of life rarely leaves time to notice the world around us. Yet creation is full of lessons — sowing and reaping, pruning and growth, fruitfulness and rest. Sometimes, the best way to encounter Him is to slow down, step outside and get our hands in the soil. 

This interactive, outdoor retreat invites you to connect with God through gardening and nature. The season of Summer will be the focus, with its warming themes of light and vibrancy.

We’ll be outside, working in the stunning grounds of Waverley Abbey, where the soil is saturated with 1,300 years of prayer. There’ll be time as a group and space for you alone. We’d love to see you there.

Meet your host

Izwe Nkose is a trained gardener who describes himself as passionate about worship and intercession as well as horticulture. Originally from South Africa, Izwe now lives in Guildford with his wife and daughters, and worships at Emmaus Road. He is also a regular contributor to Lectio 365.
