Nigel Roberts brings nearly four decades of experience in youth work, education and chaplaincy. From 1985 to 2023, he worked with Youth for Christ at both local and national levels, including more than 20 years serving as a chaplain in a state secondary school.
He has also worked with St Peter’s Saltley Trust as a Chaplaincy Ambassador for further education colleges across the West Midlands, serving as locum chaplain in a number of colleges, and spent five years volunteering as a primary school chaplain. Today, Nigel provides spiritual direction for school chaplains across the country.
Nigel is the author of several Grove Books, The Good Chaplain, the Explore the Christian Faith series for schools with HTB, and a citizenship textbook for Christians working in schools. He is also Director of Red River Theatre Company.
Nigel is married, with children and grandchildren.
